About Me
Inspiration comes before passion. Like many design engineers I know from around the world, I found my inspiration as a youngster staring at a cathode ray tube television set, fixated on a clunky, yet lovable movie robot with mechanical properties beyond its time, even by today's standard 40 years later. Inspired, I doodled technical drawings and concept art, figuring out how mechanisms work as my fascination grew.
For over a decade, I have been a passionate mechanical designer with a love for research, designing, prototyping, and testing, which is what makes my work stand out. Capable of working on multiple projects at a time with effective results while keeping to a timely project schedule. With out-of-the-box thinking and problem-solving skills, I work well within a team of design engineers (electronic or otherwise). I have always found myself drawn to creative minds, whether they are artistic or technical, which presents opportunities to teach and learn. With a thirst for challenges, I am always eager to work on a project beyond the norm.
We sometimes need to be reminded of our roots and what inspired us to do what we do. I have recently tapped back into the mind of my younger and more optimistic self with the mindset that the only toolkit I need is a paperclip and a pocket knife—and I can solve a problem.
“We cannot solve a problem with the same level of thinking we used when we created that very problem.”
~Albert Einstein
